A Convenient Way To Clean Outdoor Toys

Kids are rough on outdoor toys, so they’re guaranteed to get dirty, just from regular use. When you add in environmental factors resulting from storage outside, the grime really begins to build. Over time, water tables and other toys can start to look pretty bad thanks to all of the layers of grime. Not only will sand and dirt begin to coat the interior, it will also begin to grow mold and other yucky stuff. You don’t want your kids to play with dirty toys, or anything that’s unsafe, so it’s important to have any easy way to get toys and other stuff clean when it’s time to play.

When summer is over, bikes, scooters, water tables, sandboxes, little furniture and other stuff goes into storage. When you take it out the next year, it may resemble the image above. The leftover grime from last season’s use never went away, and mother nature has added a layer of additional green and brown stuff on top. You could just let your kids play knowing that they’ll destroy it again anyway, but you may prefer to thoroughly clean their dirty outdoor toys before the play begins.

Instant Wash Cleaning Cloths

Our Instant Wash Cleaning Cloths are the perfect tool for washing outdoor toys. They’re safe and effective on plastic, metal, wood, glass and other common surfaces, and they allow you to clean incredibly dirty stuff in a matter of seconds.

What Are They

Made from a specialized material, and fully infused with a gentle cleanser, these cloths are unlike any other. Just add water to activate the built-in soap, and it will combine with the advanced material to gently scrub and deep clean any surface. Once the job is done, you can toss the cloth because it’s totally disposable. This makes them perfect for dirty jobs outside because you can collect all of the dirt and grime without any worry of having to launder your cleaning cloths afterward.

Each cloth holds plenty of soap so you can easily tackle large jobs, and they’re super convenient because they eliminate the need for buckets, spray bottles, and additional soaps and cleansers. There’s no prep time involved, and the cleaning power provided will rival anything traditional that you might use instead. Get incredible results in less time, and simplify the task while eliminating clean-up.

What To Use Them On

You can literally clean almost any toy with these, so wipe down anything coated with dirt. The soap is very mild, and the cloth is totally non-abrasive. The combination will never harm any material, so wash anything from buckets and balls to umbrellas and water slides. How To Clean Outdoor Toys

When toys get a lot of use, or after they get stored outdoors for long periods, they can begin to look like the picture above. The once pristine, white plastic is almost totally coated in a greenish-brown slime, and a darker brown crust. It’s not just regular dirt , and it’s not the kind of dirt that comes from a single play session. It’s stubborn, stuck-on grime that collected and coated over time. A quick wipe won’t do the trick, and hosing it down will not make it white again.

In this example, we will clean a water table, but it could be a large, plastic car, a dirty table, a big wheel tricycle, or anything else. The method is simple, and you can use the same technique to clean dirt off any outdoor toy.

STEP 1: To begin, you need to activate the cloth by getting it wet with water. You’ll want to completely saturate the cloth, and then begin to squeeze it to build up a lather. Once you see the bubbles begin to form, the cloth is ready for use.

STEP 2: To clean, just wipe. Simply glide across any dirty surface to lift up, lock in, and completely remove the grime. Continue wiping in a single direction for best results, and safely use it on metal, plastic, glass, wood and other materials without worry. The advanced, non-woven fabric gently scrubs without being abrasive, and the gentle soap adds just enough extra power to help loosen the most stubborn build-up.

STEP 3: If the soap begins to diminish as you clean, you can re-wet the cloth to help produce more. A single cloth should have enough soap and cleaning power to tackle large jobs with ease. In this case, we used just one to remove every spec of dirt on the water table, and it still had plenty of ability to keep on cleaning after we finished.

STEP 4: After you wipe down the entire surface, the majority of the dirt should be collected in the cloth. What will be left, is a soapy residue that looks slightly dirty. In the picture above, you can see that the water table has been cleaned, but it still needs to be rinsed. In this case, we just used a garden hose to rinse it clean, but in more delicate situations, you could also just wipe with a clean, damp rag until the suds are gone.

Take a look at the cloth after cleaning. It has collected an incredible amount of dirt and debris. If it was a normal cleaning cloth, you would have to wash it in your washing machine, but because it’s disposable, you can just toss it in the garbage instead. This makes it way more convenient, but also way better suited for the muddy and moldy surfaces you encounter when cleaning outdoors.

AFTER RINSING: Once thoroughly rinsed, the surface will be totally clean. In this case, the moldy green table was transformed back to bright white, like-new condition.

CLOSE UP VIEW: Looking closer at the surface of the toy, you can see that it is incredibly clean. The plastic surface that was completely coated in gross-looking dirt is now perfectly white and free of dirt.

BEFORE AND AFTER: Check out the side-by-side’s above and below to see the incredible transformation. When pulled out for use, the water table looked almost unusable, but within just a few minutes, we made it look like new again. The before-and-after above shows the whole table, and the one below provides a closer view. Although it looked like a difficult job at the outset, it ended up to be quite easy thanks to the Instant Wash Cleaning Cloths.

Stop wasting water, and settling for mediocre results when cleaning outdoor toys and furniture. Blasting away with a garden hose will never remove all the dirt, and regular brushes and cloths make it difficult to get good results. Instant Wash Cloths greatly reduce the time it takes to do the job, and they also improve the results while eliminating the need for extra annoyances like searching for and using spray bottles, paper towels, buckets and other stuff.

Just grab a cloth, get it wet, and get to work.
